Looking for summer research opportunities for 2024 in the field of environmental chemistry. Open to learning more about companies or academic labs that work in environmental product development or green chemistry.

Bio

As a member of Prof. John’s lab, William (Will) Blodgett is interested in natural synthesis directed towards development of eco-friendly products and processes. His current work is interested in the development and characterization of natural hydrogels for agricultural use. His other passion is in education and educational outreach, which are reflected in his goals of becoming a professor of chemistry and opening an educational non-profit. When not in lab, he enjoys exploring New York City, cooking, longboarding, and solving new Rubik’s cubes.
