The Koder lab focuses on computational protein design to create new and improved enzymes, protein materials, and minimalist organisms useful in cancer diagnostics, terror weapon detection, renewable energy, and photonic biocomputing. Students in the lab learn computational modeling, protein biochemistry, structural biology, and photonics.
